Juergen Teller, Untitled, Chicago was first published in the German publication Zeit Magazin in 2016. As the artist puts it, the photograph "speaks for itself." Teller works in an instinctual way by bringing his personal experiences into his photographs and capturing spontaneity, desire, and a sense of life unadulterated. His process reflects these sensibilities through his use of a prominent flash and deliberate lack of retouching. Teller's images are never idealized, nor do they attempt to conform to established standards of beauty. This work is sold unframed and will be shipped flat.
